Asparagus fern

You may know this plant from the sprigs of green in amongst bouquets of flowers. Well, a friend of mine planted one of those sprigs in a plant pot and forgot about it. And this is the result, 20 or 30 years later! As you see, the plant now stands 7 feet tall, and if it hadn't been for the low ceiling, it would have grown even higher.
