A sad sad day

It is with heavy heart I post this blip, our gorgeous little Moët horse had to be put down last night after an agonising colic attack. Kim was away in Greece unfortunately, but 3 wonderful girls Stepahnie, Zoe and Niki in the field behind ours helped continuously for some 4 hours trying to keep Moët standing so as not to roll and twist her gut, it was the most horrible experiance of my life.
She was so special as she was a surprise foal from a horse I bought, and our first experiance of having our own foal.
Liam backed her when she was just a baby and he was only 18 months old ! She was a gentle gentle foal, and Liam's name for her was 'geegos geegos baby horse! coz he couldn't pronounce the word gorgeous!!!!
Moët is the beautiful horse on the left of the photo.
She will be so sadly missed we have had her 20 years, and poor Breeze has only ever know Moët his sister in the field with him so he will be very lonely.
