F2

Spent the day taking photos using F1.4 and F2 - trying to figure out how far away I can be and still get an indistinct field around the subject. That led me to a camera store which led me to buy a used manual prime 85mm that shoots at F2. For $149. An autofocus would be about 3x's that and I have gotten pretty fast with manual focus. I am excited as it should help with my preference for people shots taken without asking.

And I do like the retro aspect of the manual prime lens. AND I love my unsuspecting subject's sort of bushy brushy crew cut, also a little retro!

AND you all looked at the shot from yesterday enough to have it Spotlighted which may be a first for me - kind of cool and thanks.
