A Tale Of Two Cities

Don't be fooled by my jibe at the hubris that Yorkshire is harder than the Alpe d'Huez - as indicated on the hoarding I blipped the other day. I'm mad about cycling and the buzz in York for Day 2 of the Tour de France is just brilliant.

Now here's a thing. York really is a cycling city all year round. Everywhere is yellow and there are bike related themes everywhere you look (watch this space!). Even this charity shop has done something special.

Leeds however, where Day 1 of the Tour kicks off is a reet disgrace really. Very little sign at all; certainly not in the town centre...

What the Dickens?! :)
