A Night On The Tiles

I've been lodging in my current weeknight digs for about six weeks or so and tonight I finally realised that one of the Velux skylights opens fully upwards and outwards from about knee height to allow me to stand (slightly precariously) with most of my body protruding out onto the roof. I was momentarily excited about the photographic opportunities that this discovery might offer, but unfortunately most of the views from this vantage point are just of the houses opposite. Given the late evening light, I found the most interesting shapes by pointing my camera at the chimney stack.
