Across the Firth

It was such a beautiful day today that DH left work a little early. We went up to John o'Groats for an ice cream. It wasn't raining this time, though it could have been warmer.

On the way back, we paused at the layby to look over the firth towards Stroma and Orkney. We are always amazed by the difference a truly sunny day makes to the light.
