Gaining a voice

Just started preparing entries for our church community art/photo project - The Big Picture. We wanted to hear about how God is at work in our community, to give people a voice and an opportunity to express their own faith in a way that was relevant to them.

So far we have about 100 entries of photos, art, textiles & collages, each with a personal story. Reading through the accompanying text, which will be displayed next to each picture, is a humbling experience. The highs and lows people experience in the everyday and getting a glimpse into how God is at work is a joy.
