River bike

On the way back from work as I.got closer to the river I could really smell the saltiness because the tide was out. For a change I stopped to have a look as there were some swans which I had never seen on this section of the river before.

As I bent over the railings to get a better look, there in front of me was an intact road bike lying on river bank! Why on earth someone would chose to throw a bike in a river I do not know! Looked like it had been there a while though...
