Monday 23rd June.......A Near Disaster.....

............ALL OUR BAGGAGE IS MISSING!!!!!!!!

All we have are the clothes we stand up in plus a few bits and bobs in our hand luggage. At least the Airline has graciously allowed us to spend $100 each - which, when one sees the prices here, goes no way at all!

Anni is far more upset than me - mainly because she knows this will probably be my last visit to the USA - the Insurance cover for me is almost as expensive as the flight! - and next time, I will be another year older, and the cost will increase yet again. When you consider the cost of Medical Treatment over here, it's not really surprising !! If I come into a fortune, that will be a different matter!!

Anyway, we are here for a few more days yet so there is still the possibility of our bags re-appearing - fingers crossed!

The Condo in which we are staying is really great - is on 27th floor - image #1 is looking into the Bedroom and #2 - this view is from the Living Room lanai (balcony). Really lovely!

Spent most of the early evening shopping for the replacement essentials that were in our missing bags - which wasn't exactly on our plan of activities - never mind, we shall see what the rest of the day will bring - nothing is going to spoil this holiday.
