On the Edge of the Path

Went out to lunch with 'G' and spotted these poppies growing by a neglected path.

I think I spotted them, as my eyes are looking down, because is is very difficult to judge distances at the moment as this bubble of gas is still in my eye and the last thing I want to do is fall over.
