kids will be kids. this is a statue of a korean game called malttukbakgi. there are two teams, but here you just see one of them. the other team run up and jump on the backs of the head in butt team one by one, working their way to the front. if one of the jumpers falls off, his/her team loses. if one of the head in butt people collapses, their team loses. if no one falls or collapses (i.e. all of the second team is sitting on the backs of the first team), the the two people at the front play a game of scissor rock paper (different order in korean!) to determine the winner. it's a bit hard to explain. do a youtube search for 말떡박기 to see the game in action. and maybe don't try this at home?
