Waiting for dinner.

We have two varieties of Butcherbirds who frequent our back garden birdie restaurant ~ the Pied Butcherbird, featured in today's blip, and the Eastern Grey Butcherbird, an family of old regulars.

The Pied fly to the garden via the eastern side of the house, whilst the Eastern Grey live to the western side. And should they ever meet at the meat post, strong words are spoken, believe me!

Little Pied looked so pretty today, waiting in the high branches of the Leopard Tree this afternoon (on the eastern side of the house, of course!) so I dashed indoors for my camera. I knew he would be my blip for today.

And this photo is straight out of the camera too, not a single tweak to be had. :)
