Garden bed

The fruits of the weekend's gardening. Thanks to Megan and Chris, our very willing visitors, this bed was cleared of ivy and planted up in a day. It seems to be thriving on the rain and sun we've had today.

We did start the day with a fright though. A deer found a way onto the property through a side gate that had been left open. Luckily I was able to get her out quite easily. Now I have locked off the gate. Cute though they are, deer are unwelcome guests.
