Still Life on a wet day

Firstly, thank you all for your kind comments on yesterday's blip; the funeral prep is now under full swing and mum has asked me to choose some classical music for Granddad to come into. He had such a passion for music, and always loved coming to my orchestra concerts, so it's hard to pick just one piece that will remind me of him.

These are some of the remaining flowers in our garden; after some of the amazing blips from Mono Monday this week, I thought I'd use the rain as an opportunity to improve my still life skills.
