The Orchard

I dropped off B at Stortford station for his trip to Manchester, on my way to Cambridge for the book club meeting this afternoon. Thanks to a stone off the back of a lorry I now have a chip and crack in my windscreen!! Another task to add to the list for tomorrow to get it replaced.

The only book returned this month was Ian Rankin’s “Saints of the Shadow Bible”. I just haven’t had time to read at my normal rate. We had our meeting at the Orchard Tea Gardens at Grantchester and enjoyed the relaxing environment.

Home for a minimalist tea (B is away) and an evening at the computer updating the Nurses League membership database!!
