Roots and all...
The start of a short photographic holiday with a couple of friends on the West Coast of Scotland in the Firth of Clyde. The weather hasn't been too kind to us as yet as there has been a fine scotch mist most of the afternoon since we arrived in Kilcreggan.
However, we discovered a nice woodland walk which took us to the point of the peninsula and I took a few woodland interior shots on the way. I was particularly struck by these three roots crossing the pathway.
We enjoyed a nice meal at a nearby hotel and are now relaxing with a coffee and whisky with a fine panoramic view across the Clyde to Gourock and Greenock where the street lights are twinkling.
