As I made the kids' tea I watched the last bit of the womens' race on the first day of the World Hang Gliding Championships in Annecy. Trackers and the internet now mean you can watch in real time what's happening and get a real feel for tactics and decisions made by each pilot. I've been asked out there to cover the comp for a mag during the comp's last few days at the beginning of July. Hardly seems worth it with all this modern technology. But I'm still going anyway.
