A gorgeous day in the woods

I spent today up north in New Hampshire. The TMG family stayed home while I made a day trip driving two hours up and back. The trip was work related and so I had limited personal time.

The weather cooperated with temperatures about 10 degrees above normal and a cloudless sky. The highlight of the trip was a walk in the woods where I evaluated some property. The land was pristine with lots of wildlife. The combination of the warm weather and natural environment made for a very enjoyable experience.

In this shot, we see view from the walk. I purposefully created the starburst effect of the sun by choosing a small aperture. I also liked the animal tracks that you see receding into the picture.

A year ago: What a gorgeous beach. I love the turquoise color.
