Flying weather

I used to be a pilot, but gave it up several years ago. However, my mate Andy has kept at it and I tag along with him every now and again - like today for instance.

We didn't go far - just over to an airfield about 20 miles away, had a cup of coffee and came back. Still it was a pleasant trip with nice views of the Derbyshire / Staffordshire countryside. I helped with the navigation and twiddled some knobs - my general role as 'assistant' these days.

Pub lunch afterwards. Very nice.
