Poppy

This time last year there was a conifer tree in this corner. This year a number of large poppy plants have emerged. I read somewhere that poppy seeds can lay dormant for many years until the conditions are right for them to germinate. It's exciting to see what colours will appear or if they are all the same. Either way they are very welcome.
