Uig

Uig, on the northwest coast of Skye, is the port for ferries to Lewis and Uist - where we shall be heading tomorrow morning. After the long drive north - we could have flown to Dubai in the same time, as #2 son pointed out - through mist and rain, we find ourselves in a comfortable hotel (just behind the white church in this pic) with fabby food on a warm, still, sunny evening.


A bit surreal, actually ... but in a good way.
