Day 18: Portugal. The Man - Smile

More of a grimace really... F1 car faces have never seemed right to me, however aerodynamically speaking; they really grin.

And frankly there's always room to smile when your job gains you tours of Lotus F1's (formally Renault F1 and Benetton before that) factory. Here is Mr Alonso's car grinning happily. Parked next to another one of his, plus a couple of Mr Schumacher's.

And something to behold when; as long as you don't take any photos; they'll happily show you the inner workings of the current car they're building. A whole different kind of engineering...
