Sports Week

A good day all round today. Good weather, good day at work and good news.

The school that is attached to my daughters PreSchool was having their sorts day today, and the little ones ran a race too and Little Miss E won! Sadly I missed it, but apparently she just kept on running...thats ma girl!

She had a quick sleep when she came home as she is always tired after a day at school, but we had to go back out to Munchkin 1's school as they were having a music concert, and he was playing piano in it. He generally hates playing in public, as I think he's a bit embarrassed, so it took a lot of guts for him to do it. I was very very proud of him as he played his piece perfectly, remembering the different pitches in the music. Shame they forgot to put his name in the programme. :(. All the children were great, and so were the schools Sing Up choir. Little Miss E also deserved a medal for sitting quietly for a full 1 1/2 hours!

Todays blip was actually taken at the school I work in. Its our sports week this week where the children get to try and take part in different sports, activities, and games each day, culminating in the actual Sports Day at the end of the week. So I Blipped the gardener laying out the running track this afternoon, I liked the paralell lines.
