It was a warm day in Boston and great for sight seeing and photo taking. The caveat... my camera battery was about to die and the charger is MIA. In a desperate attempt to get a shot before the said battery died, I walked around my house and found this stack of bricks.

I am thankful for the untimely death of my camera battery because it forced me to get out of the house earlier than planned and see what I could capture just outside my front door.
I am also thankful (today) for my landlord's apathetic attitude towards the care and beauty of my backyard because, today, the bricks made for an interesting shot.

Of course, I still wandered the streets of Boston and passed many "perfect" shots...maybe another day.
