A difficult day

Henry had a haircut first thing which had to be done in 2 sittings and he had such a tantrum that he fell asleep afterwards for 10 minutes. Because of this, he refused to nap at his usual time and was extremely difficult all afternoon - and he fell asleep in the car on the way back from Sainsburys so bedtime is going to be a nightmare!

He asked if we could have a tea party for his animals so I made little pizzas and mini cheese sandwiches, little cakes and "doughnuts" - really honey loops dipped in chocolate and hundreds and thousands. He insisted on pouring orange juice all over the carpet then refused to eat anything other than all the doughnuts.

When he decided that he was hungry an hour later I thought I'd try a new tactic to get him to eat something other than pasta in cheese sauce, so I made pig and cow shaped eggybread. I got a "that looks cool" but he still refused to eat it and is currently demanding icecream and sweeties instead.
