Trainee Driver/Fireman

NYMR. Pickering station. Short of having my own parking place outside the station I have learned of the parking attendants movements during the week. I am reaching the stage when I will soon know every driver, firmen, trainee, the station staff of Pickering, Levisham, Goathland and Grosmont stations and regular travellers. I have yet to go to Whitby to photograph steam locomotives coming in. There is a new platform being built which will open soon. I intend to see the project through 'til the end of October before I divert my attention to other subjects. That does not mean I will be photographing the steam railway and nothing else. There are plenty of events to cover in North Yorkshire over the Summer.
