The Mathematical Bridge Cambridge

Arrived in Cambridge for Stephen's Graduation Day tomorrow.

We enjoyed a wander around Cambridge with our own resident guide. With a visit to the award winning Clare Gardens (Stephen's college).

Spotted a busker in a waste bin but although different did not celebrate the uniqueness of Cambridge.

The Mathematical Bridge is outside Queen's College - Stephen Fry's College. Managed to time it right for this punt to be in the picture too. The bridge built in the 18th century has been rebuilt twice but has kept faithful to the original design. Although it is an arch it has been constructed from straight timbers.

Out for a meal tonight so apologies if I fall behind on comments. Will try to catch up when back home.
