A sick Mr Mo.

Poor Mo has been wretchedly ill all day with colic, and the foul weather hasn't helped him at all. He had to be intubated to rehydrate him, introduce electrolytes, and liquid paraffin to flush his gut. He had to be sedated, but even with that he struggled while Ella the vet tried to get the tube through his nostril to his stomach. She finally succeeded, pumped him full of fluids, and then he had a long nap. He seems a bit improved of an hour ago, but he is still touch and go for the next 3 days. More foul weather on the way tomorrow, so I hope he's feeling well enough to cope.
