When George Street had a few crossings Pelicanised many years ago I recall getting a wee notice through the door just reminding people how they were supposed to work. It's going to be adjusted next week to have a two-way cycle lane on one side and a single-lane traffic lane on the other, which will cross over sides at Frederick St. During the festivals, this two-way cycle lane will be cunningly redesignated as an 'access lane' for all the bars benefiting from the doubled-width footways next to the cycle lane. That'll be fun.
