Lazy day

As T was busy most of today attending the Organization for Human Brain Mapping annual conference (the reason we're here), I attempted at first to get some writing done on a journal article ... but jet lag got the better of me, as did my need for a break. I ended up napping until late afternoon. Such a shame to lose a day to jet lag like this, but I did feel much recovered from the journey afterwards.

We went out for dinner to a local restaurant that is very popular with the locals for its traditional German and local Hamburger food. T got a very large bratwurst and I ordered roast beef (thinking it would be hot) and then discovered it was cold cuts. But we had such a good time eating and relaxing, overlooking one of the canals.
