New Car

I was quite excited... This is the first time I've ever driven a brand new car out of the dealership. Previously apart from my very first car nearly 11 years ago which was a 'banger' have been between 18 months and 7 months old. This is Henry the 4th!! Which as you can probably guess is because it's a Ford Focus (Zetec Navigator). Out of 5 cars owned in my driving time, including this one 4 have been Fords the only exception was my first car which was a Citroen.

I rack up the mileage hence try to change every 3 years or sooner.

I drove this one out with 20 miles on the clock at 10am we got it home and a roof rack with my bike was on the roof by 11. A new record set!!

Tomorrow I do the Humber Bridge Sportive. Looking forward to it.

I'm sure I'm going to have many happy journeys with the car... I'm going to have to get used to driving a petrol for the first time in 8 years!!
