Osteospermum after the rain
I have been trying to get back to work today but only managed general correspondence and not the project writing that I had been hoping to do. I have also been busy back blipping the few days I spent in Dorset and Devon last week, which I've now done.
Helena has been taken by her friend D. to a concert in a nearby village to hear Martin and Eliza Carthy. We had eaten supper as the gentle rain was falling outside the open door, and after they had left I took my camera outside to catch the evening light. I bought this Osteospermum for Helena for her 'summer' birthday and I potted it on on Saturday. Today the rain had refreshed it and some raindrops were nestling on its petals. I really liked the unusual colours in its flowers which are all slightly varied in hue and tone. I expect I will blip it again in due course. Meanwhile Bomble has come to sit on my keyboard and is telling me he wants more food, so I will now go downstairs to give him some.
