Cranes

We're folding one thousand cranes in my Japanese class. My teacher told us that every crane is a wish. A wish that might come true or one that we know will not. We're always wishing, always wanting. Every wish gives us the tiniest bit of hope that maybe, one day, it will come to us. And that moment will be magical.
