Birthday Sing-a-long

Each generation seems so different from the last yet also so similar. Yesterday over lunch Emily asked me whether I knew the song about the kookaburra. 'Yes' I said and started to sing, then she joined in too. She then wrote out the words to the song, handed them out to all sitting around the table and requested we sing in rounds. Needless to say it ended in laughter as she sternly instructed and reprimanded us for our poor timing and breathing! She helpfully gave me a copy of the song sheet to bring home with me so I can practice and sing to her when we next Skype. In case you are wondering, the black lines are to tell me when I am allowed to breathe and for how long! I'd better get practicing!
