Used corks, new life
Old champagne corks can be reused by sliding them under the handles of pan lids and voila! - you have instant non-slip, heat-proof pot holders. I've had this old kitchen trick up my sleeve for years, but perhaps some of you may not know of it and find it useful too. Good-bye to burnt fingers and scorched tea towels. Isn't that reason enough to open a bottle (or two) of bubbly?
Feeling uninspired today, but determined not to fall off the Blip wagon too early.
