Agate

My trip along the lake this morning was a complete waste of time. The horizontal rain and howling gale made Ullswater look like the most undesirable holiday venue anywhere.

An agate (a thin slice of quartz crystals backlit) at work provided a suitable subject for today's blip so that I could keep the evening free.

Tonight is the night when The Wood Workshop and The Gem Den get the calendar filled in with all the outdoor events we would like to do this season. And then of course..... our greatest blip opportunity of the year.... our annual narrowboat holiday!
