No doctor arrived to sort out the dressing, which was messed up yesterday, until his surgeon arrived this morning! She then did a brilliant job without causing any discomfort. Apparently the staff that were on had never seen a repair and a wound such as this one!! Things are moving slowly, but the surgeon is pleased with his progress so far. If all goes well he might be allowed home on Thursday.
