Unlucky Damselfly

I didn't have a blip today, other than a photo of my lunch on my desk at work.

When I arrived home, C had taken Ziggy & Hector for a walk and left me a message to say a freshly brewed pot of tea was awaiting me on the patio. I therefore went outside and did nothing for 10 minutes, except drink my tea.

This little robin was bobbing about, so I fetched my camera and took a few photos.

I didn't realise he had anything in his mouth until I viewed the pictures on my computer monitor, but looking at them all, I would say it is a damselfly.

In my Blip for last Wednesday, 18th June, I said that there were thousands of damselflies about here.

There's one less now.
