School Outing

Today we had two classes of children from the local Primary School to have their picnic lunch on the lawn, this was the first class to arrive. Almost straight opposite to our farm there are plans to develope the old Gedling Pit Area into A Country Park,a large part of the area has already been done. The local school was invited by Gedling Borough Council to visit it and give their opinions on what has already been done and suggest what they would like to be done. We were very fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day, my daughter- in - law was busy making the adults hot drinks. The children then walked back to school down our fields with an added bonus of passing my son and husband hay making.
