Just couldn't think of a title for this one for the Mono Monday challenge : Still Life.

Those words to me conjure up an Old Masters painting of dead rabbits and pheasants tastefully draped across a table, possibly beside a bunch of flowers.
I'm right out of rabbits and pheasants, but I do have these silk flowers. And since, according to Wikipedia, still life can also include rocks, here they are in a vase made of beautiful Cornish serpentine.
I've also thrown in a lovely smoky quartz crystal that I bought on top of the Jungfrau a couple of weeks ago. Where else would you go shopping if not at the top of a mountain ?
