Tram Driver

As part of the Croydon Heritage Festival we managed to get tickets for a tour of the Tram Depot.

Imagine how excited my transport mad kids were!!!!

They loved it. Especially as they got to sit in the drivers seat of the tram and were allowed to open and close the doors.... and talk into the announcement microphone!

I have to say it was really interesting and the staff were very welcoming. We even got to go in the control room and see the CCTV cameras and all the buttons which operate the system.
