Summer Delights

It was a very full day. I woke up to the birds before 5 am and dozed a while before getting up to make breakfast for R's party guests. Then C and I went to church as today was the Sunday School picnic. The same games every year and they are always a hit. C and I won the wheelbarrow race and he won the sack race. He also, to his extreme delight, won a watermelon for correctly guessing its weight.

This evening after dinner, R, C and I went up the hill to Marnie's house for a visit and a long swim for R and C. C was asleep before we had gone a kilometre down the hill.
