Roses are red

The roses were looking particularly lovely in the sunshine today. A quiet day at home, with some gardening. Pulled a bit more ivy, which is going to be a long project. Gradually revealing stone wall and plantings beneath the choking ivy.

Last day with our daughter and her boyfriend before they return to Vancouver. Going out for dinner (yes, again) and making the most of our time together.
