Irises

After a week of pretty intense photography, it was a day for catching up in the garden and getting it into reasonable shape before we go on holiday next weekend. Replacing the faulty pond pump, repairing the filter unit, rewiring it and getting it running again. All much to the annoyance of the resident frogs which kept popping up to see what the fuss was about.

But the temptation of the camera was too strong, as was the attraction of these two irises. There are more of today's flower pictures here (first eight in the set).
