surprise arrival
Had a lovely walk in Castle Archdale, a lot of orchids are presently in bloom there. There was a red deer back in the deer enclosure, I don’t know if it is one of the originals, that some idiot/s released during the winter.
It was good to see lots of people were enjoying a lovely Sunday afternoon in the park, picnics, orienteering, cyclists & walkers.
Then went to visit my cousin again, as the Shetland pony, Madam, that she had rehomed, via http://www.mylovelyhorserescue.com/ unexpectedly, produced a foal, Bertie, just over a month ago, he is small as foals go but so cute, Madam was quite relaxed about visitors looking at Bertie. As Susan says, he is the greatest waste of time, she has had lots of visitors to see him & he is quite famous
There was no indication of Bertie’s expected arrival, when I visited early in April, to 1st see her rescue ponies
Rescued
