digital helmsman

Went off for a sail yesterday - singlehanded.
It was much too exciting to take Blips though - rather more wind than I really wanted and it came without warning from a clear blue sky.
Not like that today though - en route to Brightlingsea for quick look at the entrance before heading back.
Digital helmsman? He's the grey box between the tiller and the side of the boat - has a built in fluxgate compass and pushes and pulls the tiller to steer a set compass course.
He does it rather well too.
