The band played on -

but Airedale knitter took a quick photo!

I have been playing up on Oxenhope Railway station today, lovely sunshine and lovely and warm. We play as each train comes into the station and then stop once it goes out. I therefore find it quite difficult to blip as when there is anything going on I am playing. The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway is single track most of its length and therefore the engine is detached at Oxenhope ( the Terminus) and reversed down on to the other end of the train. I had been watching them go past the far side of the carriages from my vantage point in the band throughout the afternoon. Luckily as this one went past I had 8 bars rest, so I took my opportunity.

It isn't my best photo ever, and it includes a selfie (of sorts) but it was my best of the day. I do like the reflections of the band and the engine the far side of the carriages.

Look out for Lovelupins, Chrysanthemum and Midgehole Dave who came to listen, and Corinthian Column who helped collect £74.03 shaking her bucket.
