Manchester Day Parade

We went on the train into town for Manchester Day. It was great!
By some great stroke of luck indeed, we stumbled upon the parade just as it was setting out down the road we were walking along from the station so ended up with front row 'seats'. The parade was around a mile long and took an hour to pass us by, loads of wonderful costumes, dancers, sculptures and music from all over the world. Really enjoyed it :)

And the sun shone.
