Bramham Scarecrow Trail 2014

After yesterdays Royal scarecrow , today the village was festooned with around 60 scarecrows with mostly French, Yorkshire and Grand Départ themes.

The weather was fantastic and there were loads of people (mostly in family groups) wandering round looking at all the exhibits. A lot of work has gone into making the scarecrows and it was amazing to see so many people around. I had the dogs with me - combining their walk with my photographic expedition!

Today's blip I chose partly because it is my neighbour's and partly because it was a different theme to most of the others. It depicts a hiker and the title 'Beating the Bounds' refers to the annual 'ramble' that takes place around the Parish boundaries - a distance of 14.2 miles.
