Constable country

After lunching with old friends in Essex we had a walk along Dedham Vale, calling at Flatford Mill on our way back to Ipswich. Constable's Hay Wain was painted from this point. Now we are off out to catch up with more old friends for a yummy curry at the Maharani, where we've had many a great night out in past times. Will be good to catch up with the owner, Manik, too. The weather has been glorious - that, and seeing dear friends - makes me a bit nostalgic for our 20 years of living here - till I see how busy everything is!
